The get the plane to fit with the engine the door from the garage into the house had to be removed. A while ago I found that the forward mount points for my horizonal stabilizer were 10mm to far inboard to mount to the fuselage. I ended up unzipping the entire structure and was able to get them moved out. The angle got reamed out a bit, so I took the holes/rivets up to A6 to be safe. I don't have h-stab truly mounted yet, just clamped on. http://marzulliphoto.net/Airplanes/Horizontal-Stabilizer-Mount/11330098_rf44T#795527284_Nhocd John Marzulli http://www.GenevieveMarzulli.org/ http://MarzulliPhoto.net/ http://701Builder.blogspot.com/ ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 12:08:08 PM PST US Subject: Re: Zenith701801-List: Progress pictures ( aka I have the most understanding wife ever ) From: Carlos Sa John, that must be one of the coolest pics I have seen on this list !!! I had to open up my H-stab and upgrade from the 040 originally in my plans to the 063 in the newer plans. I ask because your kit/plans and my plans are from approximately the timeframe(if I remember correctly).
