Kevin,
No slats
Very little paint.
It would have been less but we put a 3.5 lb transponder and encoder in it, a few
other things. The upholstery probably weighed 6-7 lbs too.

Thats a pretty significant weight saving Tommy, Im impressed and it shows in the
performance of the plane.
I was getting pretty discouraged with the polishing process as well but found a
neat trick. A fine scotch brite pad in the direction of the grain of the
metal and good ol soap and water. Presto, no ucky oxidation residue during
the polishing, less time, less polish and great results!
This is the same surface prep method I use for the interior prior to applying zinc
chromate.
I know its a bit late for this plane Tommy but it may be of use for your CH750
and other builders brave enough to attempt polishing.
