Hello all;
The 701 top window is bowed. The bow is controlled by the
curve of the Diagonal Doubler 7F12-3. This part is crimped to curve it them
trimmed and fitted to the diagonal tube of the cabin frame. Dimensions and
details are shown on sheet 7-F-12. Hope this helps.

I usually fly low between 1000 and 2500 ft. AGL. But the other day I
wanted to see what my Jabiru 2200 powered CH 701 could do. I climbed to
10,000 ft. (11,300 density altitude), final climb rate at 10K was 200 to
300 ft/min. Engine was smooth all the way and temps were good. Sure can
see a long way from up there.
