I've been looking for a prop for my 701 project. I have a SAE #1 bolt pattern. Warp Drive and Ivo have this pattern. I have read where Warp Drive has had some problems with their hubs cracking. Ivo props are heavier. I was looking at the Koolprop, but it only comes in the Rotax pattern as do most. Anybody with some input? Weight: Warp Drive Ivo Koolprop 11# 14.2# 8# Sam n idaho

do not archice On a 701? That would be like putting fender skirts and a low-rider kit on a Hummer. Wheel pants are for those sissys over on the 601 page! The 701 needs mud-grip tires....as large as possible.....maybe even snow chains. Zed/701/R912/90%/etc

Does anyone have a good solution for plugging the steering rod holes. I've ordered the Yamaha parts, and they were way too large (8CR-2198F). I've also tried the inner tube rubber with a slit, but the rods are threaded the whole way, and it just chews the rubber up. Leaving them open is an option, but not a good one. Can anyone tell me what they are using? Roger Atwater, Ca.

Is this for a 701 or an 801 ? I thought both had the same size slots cut in the firewall. do not archive Ben Haas N801BH www.haaspowerair.com ---------- Original Message ---------- From: Roger Wibbels <rogwibb@yahoo.com> Subject: Zenith701801-List: Firewall Steering rod holes m> Does anyone have a good solution for plugging the steering rod holes. Roger, go to matronics.com/photoshare and look for Charles F. Longs solution, dated Dec. 23, 2007. I used his idea, which involves Jeep/Bronco shifter boots. But I used scrap aluminum to make mounting plates and they work well. I also used JB Weld to fill steering rod threads. If you'd like, I have pictures of my installation.
