I haven't asked zenair recently but a year ago they didn't have one.
I will try them again.and post here if I get one.
Other wise I may have to become a pioneer and design and build my own not
the ideal solution

The last time I spoke with Zenith there logic was that the Ring mount was a Rotax
Item and the mount from the firewall to the ring mount was part of their firewall
forward package. I would think it should be part of the drawing package
for scratch builders. I wasn't ready for it so I never pushed the point.
Good Luck.

FWIW the 601XL main plans include 4 different mounts: Jabiru 3300,
Continental O-200, Lycoming O-235 conical and dynafocal.

This might not be that answer anybody is looking for but...
Has anyone gotten a price from Zenith for their portion of the mount? I know that
the Rotax portion is outrageous but it has been my experience that Zenith's
prices for the parts they build are usually pretty reasonable.

It is a 701 with the 912ULS - 100hp uncertified. Some of you 701 experts will
also notice the landing gear is not the tundra gear. This was purchased as a
used kit that was originally bought in 1999. Back then the main landing gear
was similar in design to the 601 using the same forks. It can't take the punishment
like the tundra gear, but it can easily convert to floats.
