From: tebenkof@aol.com Hello, I have not been on the list for a few years. I completed my 701in early 2006. I am back because this list, at least in those days, had enough expertise to answer almost anything. Sometimes even with multiple contradictory answers. So, hoping you experts are still out there: How do you confirm and locate an exhaust leak you suspect is there only because you hear it. And is that likely to be my problem. After a grass landing on a moderately rough strip there was a buzzing, or perhaps rapid light clapping sound, heard when taxing in. It correlated with RPM. There were no instrument indications, such as egt, of any engine problem. Is it likely exhaust, or isthere something else I should be thinking about? thanks for any help, Jim in Tualatin ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 03:37:53 PM PST US From: "Larry McFarland" Subject: RE: [Probable Spam] Zenith701801-List: Exhaust Leak?? Hi Jim, The sound could be loose pipes impacting on close holding brackets, etc. Otherwise you might check your valve adjustments in the engine.
