I am now flying the plane, and it seems to work well. I don't have experience with the Dynon AOA probe, so I can tell how it compares. Here is a link to a video clip of the AOA in action http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HK0lZnLRahs Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=354216#354216 ________________________________ Message 4 _____________________________________ Time: 07:57:33 PM PST US Subject: Zenith701801-List: Re: DIY Dynon AOA From: ruruny@aol.com Hey, The setup looks good and like it would work. But I did not see the AOA disp layed on your dynon in the video. Look at the attached picture, in the bottom left corner , its the red/yellow/green thing. You have to go into the menu to display it. Once di splayed, there is a calibration procedure in the instructions that you have to do while do ing power on and off stalls. I have done so since, and the bar on the left of the screen is now active. I am thinking about bending the 45degree pipe a bit, and recalibrate, since I have to get rather close to stall before the green line starts to go retract.
