My tanks have a balance line which is where they "T" together before the valve.
If the plane is parked level the tanks will equal out to seek the level of the
other one. What I was speaking of is an air line between the tanks to equalize
the air pressure above the fuel while in flight, as that is what varies and
causes uneaqual fuel flow in my opinion.

My 801 has dedicated fuel lines from each wing to independant fuel cut
off valves.... I also have the vent lines connected to the fittings weld
ed into the tops of all tanks and that line is connected to both wings..
... I ALSO have seperate vent lines on each tank protruding below the wi
ng in the high pressure area....... Even with all my vents, my 801 will
drain from one side more then the other....
Ps, after my first flight and the resulting siphoning of the fuel throug
h the Zenith supplied vented caps, That causes the 100LL fuel to permane
ntly stain my 300 dollar a gallon Imron paint.. Yeah... That really piss
ed me off too...... So I epoxyed those vent holes up in those caps to pr
event any future staining.... After 9 years, 500 hours and maybe 4000 ga
llons of fuel run through my plane I have not had ONE issue with fuel su
pply..... I mention this for reference for others...

Same could be said about a guy that touts on about auto conversions, but I prefer
not to throw stones but instead respect his effort and keep an open mind

my horizontal stabilizer didn't have slats on it to start with so I cannot
draw any conclusions.... YMMV..

I've experienced the exact same thing thing sharpie dies fast, but I've found that
if you lightly scribble across some wood (workbench) I've found they come
right back to life..... I think they "skin over" and the wood trick clears it.

Agreed....
Either that, or they clog with oils, or grease.
I find it only happens when writing on metals....
But at home on paper.... No such issue.
I have a fineline Sharpie, that is mebbe six-eight months old, and it still flows
first time

Hi all,
Any suggestions on a torque wrench for AN3 nuts/bolts. 20 in*lb range.
Also, there is a min. Edge distance, but is there also a minimum distance to a
bend line.
Regards,
Perry

I have found that Sharpies are very intolerant to being left uncapped.
