Early morning is a great time to get things done on your project. I have the basement
garage like you do, so my family doesn't always appreciate my air compressor
turning on and my drills and cutters winding out. I've had to adjust my
schedule to a little later in the morning, or I do more of the quiet work if its
too early. Keep at it.

Sounds like you are making steady progress Perry.=C2- Keep up the work an
d eventually you will have a airplane shaped piece of aluminum to fly.=C2
- It absolutely amazed me as I was in the final stage of my project when
my punch list became empty.=C2- I stood there in shock for a few seconds
flipping the list back and forth looking for things to cross off.=C2- I t

get to bed, got to set that alarm clock or maybe not. Found I did not get t

with the wing kit.=0AI can still rivet on some nose ribs and make a few sma

Subject: | Wing tank operations |
I have only wing tanks.- I have a shutoff valve for each tank.- I
never leave both valves open at the same time.- I take off and land on
the fullest tank.- I check each tank before flight and use the lowest
tank in cruise.- Prior to landing I go to the full tank. As the fuel
pickup is in the rear of the tank, it can be uncovered at the pitched
down attitude during approach if the tank is near empty.- Also, if I
want to carry a heavy passenger, I can use most of- one tank and still
have a full tank for flight with the passenger.
