I took the 12=9D vixen file I had from Lee Valley and cut 4=9D of it. I found this was a bit long to get between crimps, so off the 8=9D left I cut another 2=9D chunk to get between crimps. The 2=9D is handy as it does not hit too many holes at once allowing one to do a couple holes at a time. The longer ones work better on the spar and longer runs where one can have a good grip on the file. Now I have a 2=9D, 4=9D and 6=9D vixen file. I used the combination to deburr the lower right wing skeleton. It works well, but as one of the poster=99s said, I need to round off the edges so it does not create scratches on the skins. I will do that before deburring the lower skin and nose skin. Thanks again, Regards, Perry ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Matronics Email List Services ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post A New Message zenith701801-list@matronics.com UN/SUBSCRIBE http://www.matronics.com/subscription List FAQ http://www.matronics.com/FAQ/Zenith701801-List.htm Web Forum Interface To Lists http://forums.matronics.com Matronics List Wiki http://wiki.matronics.com Full Archive Search Engine http://www.matronics.com/search 7-Day List Browse http://www.matronics.com/browse/zenith701801-list Browse Digests http://www.matronics.com/digest/zenith701801-list Browse Other Lists http://www.matronics.com/browse Live Online Chat! http://www.matronics.com/chat Archive Downloading http://www.matronics.com/archives Photo Share http://www.matronics.com/photoshare Other Email Lists http://www.matronics.com/emaillists Contributions http://www.matronics.com/contribution ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These Email List Services are sponsored solely by Matronics and through the generous Contributions of its members.
