These caps vary.
You need to check that you have sufficient fuel flow without extra venting.
Drilling out the 4 vent channels on the rim may help. Beware - the cap is
quite thin.

I have only wing tanks, each with a shutoff valve where the 1/4 "
fuel lines come through the wing root.- Jab 2200 on my 701.- Standard
kit vented caps have been working for 11 years.

One more thing about the caps from the factory:
Throw out that horrible paper gasket and replace it with a rubber gasket.
The paper showed signs of deteriation after only a few months of flying.
