Hi all, Is it necessary to invest in a rivet squeezer and blind hole locator or do the DIY pliers and #40 hole finder (strap duplicator) work fine for the whole project? I will need them soon for trailing edge solid rivets and wing root skin. Regards, Perry

Perry, I picked up an economical rivet squeezer from one of the aviation to ol supply houses(Avery I think) for a fairly reasonable price.- It may wo rk to squeeze the soft trailing edge rivets with modified pliers but for th e cost, the proper tool worked so easy it was well worth the price.=0A=0AI think this is the squeezer I ended up using.=0A=0Ahttp://www.averytools.com /prodinfo.asp?number=64015=0A=0ADoug M=0ACH-701 from scratch=0ANW Ontario , Canada=0A=0A=0A=0A=0A=0AOn Monday, November 4, 2013 10:43:10 AM, Perry De lano <pdelano@telus.net> wrote:=0A =0AHi all,=0A-=0AIs it necessary to in vest in a rivet squeezer and blind hole locator or do the DIY pliers and #4 0 hole finder (strap duplicator) work fine for the whole project?
