Subject: | Riveting wing nose rib through spar and tail rib on |
CH-701
Hi All,
Just started assembling the primered left wing skeleton, and It is a bit
late to ask, as the right wing is setting in storage, but does it matter
which direction the 4 rivets through the rear rib on the 701 go. Does one
insert the rivet through the nose rib, then spar then rear rib and pull the
head on the rear rib side or the other way round or does it matter given the
tip rib and rear rib are the same thickness. The spar cap is definetly
thicker than the tip rib so the upper and lower rivet direction through the
tip rib is defined, but I cannot find anything definite for the
aforementioned 4 rivets. It is clear from the construction manual which
direction the rivets go in the three L angle stiffeners and implied for the
spar tip extension. Any help forthcoming will be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Perry Delano
