Hi all, I rivetted the trailing edge of the nose skin to the spar on the bottom side. But realize now I cannot get that upside down bolt in the upper strut fitting because the skin is rivetted tight in this position. On the right wing I was sure to get it on and the bolts torqued before I rivetted on the skin, thought I would get smart on the left wing, not so. Has anybody else done this, and is there an alternative to drilling out 40 some A4 rivets to get this bolt in. Thanks, Perry

Fitting Make inspection covers for anywhere there is a bolt to be checked. Your DA R will want to see inside your airframe when he/she is doing the inspection before you go test flying. Fitting John, David, Mike and Doug, Thank you all for your input. I think I will bite the bullet and knock the rivets out of half the nose skin so I can get the bolt in as specified in the plans and manual. I will have to then consider some inspection panels. Thanks for the tip on George Race=99s website. Regards, Perry

Fitting Looked at it again. Taking 50+ rivets out of the spar for one bolt looks pretty onerous. Will send a note to Caleb to see if he can give any tips. Maybe a shorter bolt.
