I think I would like to add the diagonal "L" angle stiffening pieces to the fuselage bottom, top and sides as some builders have done. Are they a good idea? I would appreciate any comments. If they are, does anybody know how many lengths of L angle are required. It is telling that the diagonals are stock on the 750 so if I were building a 701 again I would not hesitate to p ut them in. As for how many to order, I don't remember but essentially one f or every bay. I would seriously consider adding a second diagonal for a "X" in the large flat side panels immediately behind the baggage wall as I thin k one diagonal still leaves too much unsupported 016 drum skin and is likely the source of the slight rattle I have left when flying uncoordinated. Hope this information helps Doug M Sent from my iPad > On May 7, 2015, at 11:29, Perry Delano wrote: > > Hi, > > I just ordered the fuselage, flaperons and slats kit for the 701 from Zeni th. I asked Zenith to add them to my order. Won=99t say who, but someone estimated 11 lengths were required, and I have a couple extra lying around. I will definetly go for the =9CX=9D.
