Subject: front tire for 701
I fly to my 701 to places where I have to taxi through tall weeds.
Sometimes I can=99t avoid thorns that flatten the 8.00-6 Carlisle
Turfglide tires that came with the 701. Long ago I tossed out the
Turfglides on the mains and have not had any issues with main-gear flats
since installing larger Desser 6-plys. I=99m still getting flats
on my nose gear and would like to find a good tire but that will fit
under the 701 nose fork.
If you know of a 6+ply tire that will fit under the fork on the
Zenith/Matco rims I would like to hear from you.
