One is the fuel supply line, one is the return from the engine fuel rail (via duplex fuel selector valve), and the other is a vent line from my header tank back to the top of my wing tank. Here is a link to my POH which has a diagram of the fuel system: https://www.dropbox.com/s/058bv17ebp3vkcl/N701GT%20POH.pdf?dl=0 Several people have reported that fuel would not flow to their gascolator from one tank until the other tank was fully consumed. They were forced to watch one full tank as the fuel gauge on the opposite side ran dry. Then the fuel from the full tank would drain and the two tanks would show about 1/2 full. I had a theory that there was a bubble of air in the gascolator that was blocking the flow from one side. Once one tank was consumed, that bubble could escape through the empty tank and then the fuel from the full tank would flow. I asked a few question here on the CH701 Matronics list about this and really didn't get any clear answers. That would drive me nuts watching the gauge on one side slowly go to zero not knowing if when it was empty if I would be looking at an engine out landing. Once the bubble was cleared, this issue never occurred again until the fuel system was completely drained. Quite a while ago I prototyped the fuel system using clear fuel lines. I just never got around to publishing what I found but I probably should have. I think I was able to duplicate the issue. Hopefully those interested can figure out what I did from the fuel system drawing of the POH and this video: https://www.dropbox.com/s/s546nx5fq69onpx/IMG_0896x.MOV?dl=0 I also have a bunch of build pictures here that I used to get my Repairman's Certificate. There might be some useful info there. They can be found here: http://www.n701gt.com/ Hope this is helpful, Curt -----Original Message----- From: Keith Ashcraft [] Sent: Wednesday, September 9, 2015 6:26 AM Subject: First flight of N701GT HI Curt, Congratulations!!!! Couple of questions. Rightside of cockpit, what are the 3 lines coming in to the cabin. I am assuming you have fuel, some electrical, and ?????
