      Dear Listers,
      
      The percentage of people making a Contribution to support the Lists this year is
      currently lagging behind last year by approximately 21%!  I'm hoping that everyone
      is just waiting until the last minute to show their support... ;-)
      
      Please remember that it is solely your direct Contributions that keep these Lists
      up and running and most importantly - AD FREE!  If the members don't want to
      support the Lists directly, then I will likely have to start adding advertisements
      to offset the costs of running the Lists.  But I *really* don't want to
      have to start doing that.  I really like the non-commercial atmosphere here and
      I think that a lot of the members appreciate that too.

      That's my ultimate goal and yes I am very interest. However, I will need to know
      that you can deliver, on time! Otherwise I have no problem looking elsewhere.

      That doesn't make any sense to me. Design the floats for the best airframe, motor
      combination. It is an amateur/homebuild, like the 701 or 801! LSA or not. Or

      I would imagine that the majority of CH 750 builders will be installing an 
      O-200 engine, as that is what the factory will be supporting. Assuming that 
      the SLSA version of the plane will also use an O-200 engine, then the 
      greatest market potential for the new floats will be for the those with the 
      same configuration.
      With that said, I will be installing a 125 HP Franklin 4A-235 engine on my 
      plane, and also have plans to install it on floats. The 125 HP Franklin 
      engines are designed to fit on an O-200 mount, and are very similar in 
      weight and dimensions, so the O-200 cowl will work just fine as well.

      Stefan, the engine has little to do with the installation of the floats
      they are in fact designed for the airframe. I am looking at Customer
      relations. THE people buying an sLSA complete ready to fly aircraft are
      not builders, they are not familiar with installation procedures (this
      is of course generalized and does not apply to all) The LSA owners that
      are interested in floats, just want to know that they work with the
      combination they have purchased. I am not talking about people who have
      bought a kit or built from plans, only the ones that have bought the
      SLSA.
       In that my 750 will have what the sLSA version will have installed.
      Builders for the most part will know that a lighter installation with
      more torque and the same or more HP will be a better installation for
      getting off the water.
      
      You didn't miss anything, I just wasn't clear enough.
      
      Once again my preference is the Rotax 912ULS or the 914 I believe this
      would be a better installation in the 750, but that is based only on
      personal opinion and not hard facts.
