Brady, You are probably right.
However, today I made a deal on a used continental O-200 with 223 hrs since major.
I am going to pickle it and within the next year I hope to have it on my
new project, a CH750.
Actually, my preference was for a Rotax 912ULS, but used ones are still out of
my league.
I know the Vair is a great engine and I hear lots of good stuff about them. But
the price I paid for the O-200 is actually less than buying a Vair core and
rebuilding it.
BTW, I have a daughter who lives in Dupont. Isn't that near you?
