Subject: | Trim servo wiring |
I started building my 750 recently. I've got the Hrz Stblzr done and am about to
rivet the Elevator assembly. I've installed the trim servo and cut the rod to
the right length, run the wires and have the 5' wire coiled up.
I started thinking about things down the line. At some point, after the plane is
completed, I'm assuming the day will come when I may need to take the tail section
off for whatever reason, i.e., repainting, painting for the first time,
repairs. I'm thinking that it would be a good idea to install a 5-pin connector
where the 5' wire attaches to the wiring run thru the fuselage. This would
make tail section removal much simpler. Is anyone else out there doing anything
similar?
