For the-Horz form block-reliefs, what relief angle have you all had suc
ess with to obtain a semi-flat horz tip rib?--I have 10deg of angle for
springback (tried 6deg), should I try 15deg for the reliefs?

Art,
Like you, I started with 6 degrees on my CH701. I found that 10 degrees
worked better. I still had to tweak the angle a bit after the part came out
of the form block.

Cool Curt thanks for your response. 10 degrees is what I have for springbac
k of the .025 on the flange springback for the horz tip rib but what about
the flute reliefs? I surely won'tt want to use the same angle.- I was loo
king for something that actually works for flute angle for the material thi
ckness.- Be advise I realize this is a as needed purpose relief angle and
was thinking 15deg was good.- Just looking for on purpose flute angle .

Art,
I used a 1 inch spindle sander to notch for the flutes. I have a note on
one of my wing nose rib form blocks that says I angled them at 45 degrees.
I still used fluting pliers once I got close.
