In our case, the relative angle between the lower fitting on the landing gear and the upper attach point on the wing was wrong. These were on the one-piece struts where the entire strut was welded in a single piece, and right and left side were off by the same amount. Solution was to cut the top ends off the struts and top it with a sleeve (purchased from Zenith--in my humble opinion they should have provided it at no charge) that was free to rotate to the correct angle, then drill and bolt it in place. From what I understand, Zenith subsequently went back to providing 2-piece struts for the 701s to avoid this problem. Check the 701 archives for details. II'm surprised to hear they are back to one-piece in the 750, but if the problem is the same, the solution probably is too... The struts are extruded and the ends are thicker than the midsection.
