We had about half tanks of fuel on board. Once the engine quit we lowered the nose and immediately turned on the electric fuel pump. The engine came back to life and the rest of the flight was uneventful. This phenomenon was not experienced during the 40 hour flight testing period. There is a placard advising that the "electric boost pump should be used for takeoff and landing", however perhaps this should be changed to say, " electric boost pump should be used during training maneuvers and low level operations" or something like that. Would be interesting to find out also the location of the electrical fuel pump? I can still make changes!
