Subject: Portable Bench Power Tool Cart Description: The late, great Tony Bingeles had plans for a roll-around Bench Power Tool Cart that I built with 4 x 4s, 2 x 4s and three-quarter in. plywood. It sure frees up a lot of shop space and can be rolled out of the way when not in use. The table top is 36" x 36", but I'd recommend 48" x 48" to give a little more wiggle room around each of the four tools. I chose a band saw, grinder, belt/disc sander, and drill press (all Craftsman in my case). Two casters are swivel and two are fixed. The weight on the wheels keeps things from rolling around while using the tools, but the cart is still easy to move when you want. I mainly used 3" square-drive screws for fastening the top and bottom 2 x 4 frames to the 4 x 4 uprights. The rest is obvious in the photos.
