PostForum: AeroElectric-List   Posted: Mon Sep 19, 2022 12:19 pm   Subject: AC current reading for Revmaster engine
I have described previously the problems with my Revmaster engine and the destruction of it's stator. As I am slowly reassembling my firewall forward I've incorporated a DC current sensor and various ...

Thanks for the reply Bob. Unfortunately my GRT EFIS cannot read Thermocouples except as used for EGT and CHT. Therefore I am using small inexpensive readers off Amazon. I seriously doubt if they ha ...

As I redo my Revmaster engine with the burned stator I plan to incorporate thermocouples to hopefully allow me to head off a repeat of the burned stator. In the past on both the RV and the Onex I ran ...

I am aware of the Lithium battery low resistance situation but also believe that the regulator must add to the problem. If, as I believe, the shunt regulator shunts to ground when the charge of the b ...

Thanks Joe. Is this a switching type of regulator. My original stator burned up due to heat generated and I want to make sure I don't repeat this. It is my understanding that the shunt type regulat ...

Joe Gores was kind enough to produce a schematic (enclosed) that pretty much answers all my concerns about the twin alternators. Since my amperage needs are less than 20 AMPs we will keep the two gen ...
