The fine pitch angle was wrong, Everything works as advertised now. Sorry for wasting everyone's time

Yes, I called Whirlwind (Hartzell now) and they're also stomped.
I'll keep trying and report if I find a solution. |

Well, the way I understand it the governor uses oil pressure to decrease pitch. Not to coarsen it.
So I don't really see how more oil pressure would help me ?

Hello,
I tried it also at higher RPM and same thing. Plus I've tried mags and everything runs normally on that front. I'm almost positive it's the instrument and not the engine. |

The engine vibrates whether or not the cowlings are installed.
I didn't check the rubber mounts, I figured if they would be damaged it would shake at all RPM...
