That's true, I should. I guess is officially a completion now.

It came out at 833 pounds with a light weight sky-tec starter. The starter nose case cracked and I replaced it with a heavy starter which helped the CG so now its at 843 pounds. If I went back to a light wieght starter, put in a lighter wieght battery (current one is 24 pounds, but has lots of juice) and took out the inverter I could get it down to 820. Gotta love carbon.

The engine made 227 HP on the test cell so it should be fast.

I did some high speed taxi tests on the runway today. I was letting it go at only 1800 rpm and it came off the ground a couple feet when I put the tail down. It was kind of a shock to find it flying at such low rpm. I bounced once and then set it down on three points.  Hopefully the real first flight will be next week.
