Hi Fellow builders: I am about to install my Woodcomp prop (that came with
the Skyshop firewall forward kit) on my Rotax 912S engine on my 701. I know
the end objective when setting the prop blade angle is to be 6% below max RRM
at full throttle.
I am seeking recommendations for the initial blade angle from builders who
might have a similar prop/engine combination that has worked for them.
Any other helpful hints or advice would also be appreciated.

Mike,
Just did this on mine. I wound up with 13 degrees. This came very close to
the 6 %. MAKE SURE THAT YOUR TACH IS ACCURATE! Use a prop tach to verify the
actual RPM of the engine. Don't forget that there is a 2:43 gear reduction for
the prop. Make up a chart showing the Prop RPM and Engine RPM to compare it to
your Tach readings.
