Hi Folks,
This fall I saw a Model II at a flyin which had bubble doors. I'm interested in something similar for my Model II. Does anyone know if the bubble doors sold by Kitfox for a Model IV fit a model II, or if there is another source for them short of blowing them myself??
Cheers
Ken

Steve,
That looks like the ones I saw on the Model II at the Carleton Place, Ontario fly-in back in Sept. Am interested in using them on my Model II if they fit.
Cheers
Ken

The bubble doors on my Kitfox III came from LP Aero Plastics.

Ken,

I have made the cabin wider on the model 2 by making the doors like the model 4 doors. The tubes in the middle of door can be replace with longer ones with a bend in them outwards, Re skin with 1/16 lexan.

I likely got pics here some where -- I think it adds about 3 or 4 inches to cabin width and cost for materials under 100$
