Be advised that if you have a valve WITH the manual tab and it goes bad,
you can take a new valve WITHOUT the tab and just put the lower outer
body from the old one onto the new one and you will retain manual start
capabilities.

Guys,Even though the PLAAF remove the manual start levers from their QDF-1 start solenoid valves I have never seen a factory new Chinese QDF-1 valve that did not have one.  So that can only mean that they are removed in the field, not at the factory.  I just checked and at this time I have 12 valves in stock, 10 are factory new and have the manual start lever, 2 are air base overhauls and they do not have the lever.

Best,
Doug

Doug, I have seen ones that do not even have the SLOT for the manual
lever. Not sure what model that is, but bet Dennis does.

Dennis,

Looking at the photo it looks like the valve in question has a lever.

That was the case with the start valve on my 50. So I think that this was
the original situation on the Yak 50 (older than the 52).
Gradually these valves were replaced with valves from the 52.
