I finally got the PMA for the overlays. TWO years to get this approved. Ridiculous. It took 7 revisions of the project plan before the FAA accepted it. Then, 3 separate conformity inspections. FOR A COSMETIC PIECE OF .040 ALUMINUM. And they wonder why aviation costs so much.
