|
|
I have several prototypes for recent projects on my bench that are excess to requirements. I'm offering them to anyone who wants one. Prices reflect my cost for circuit boards and components (no labor). Shipping will be via USPS Ground Advantage (cost calculated by eBay). First come, first served.
To make this manageable and easy for everyone, each item is listed on eBay by Item #, as indicated below. To discourage random buyers from taking them, there are cryptic titles and no descriptions or photos on the eBay listings. Just click the link and purchase the Item # that matches the item you want. If the eBay link is dead, the item is sold out.
NOTES:
1. These are experimental prototypes, not commercially produced products. I'm a hobbyist, not an electrical engineer. I designed, built and tested these items to the best of my ability, but I cannot and do not guarantee that their operation will satisfy your particular needs.
2. Before you install one of the overvoltage protection modules (OVM-14 Mk III -or- OVP Relay Driver), please read all warnings in the documentation carefully.
3. If you have any questions, please ask before purchasing. No returns. Tech support is limited to the documentation posted on this forum and my ability to answer questions here.
4. Shipping may not be immediate, as I won't be visiting the post office every day. Please expect some delay before shipment. The eBay listings indicate three business days; it may take longer.
Thank you!
Here's what I have available:
----------

ITEM #5 ($23.30 ea):
2 available. Landing & Taxi Light Wig-Wag Controller. These modules will alternately double-flash LED lights drawing up to 5A each. You can see this module in action in this video clip (watch the hangar door in front of the airplane; the landing lights -- off-road "pod lights" on my friend's Kitfox -- are being flashed by this module for about 10 seconds):

These are tiny, double-sided surface-mount boards, so I have assembled and tested them. There's a very small potentiometer on the board to adjust flash rate; you'll need a jeweler's screwdriver. Each module includes a mating connector, 10 stamped-and-formed D-Sub pins (9 required), and two backshells (one for the module and one for the mating connector).

If you want one of these, send me an email or a private message (go to the Project Details link and click the "PM" button at the bottom of the first post). Include your name and mailing address (U.S. and Canada only, please). I'll edit this post to indicate when these boards are gone.
