Just finished installing the mod. 74 wing-root pins and it occurred to me,
that filling the cavity drilled out of the blue foam could possibly be done
with expanding foam. I have used this material before for other applications
and find that it sticks to anything and can easily be sanded.
Has anybody tried it, or could there be problems ?

Hi! Peter
I'm not qualified to answer except I'd suggest there may be a question
of differential expansion, the density may be different from structural
consideration then there is the question of actual application, I
believe water is involved as a spray ?
IMHO much better to stay within the terms of the mod.
Regards
Bob Harrison

Not recommended Tim.
It isn't chemically stable and tends to continue slowly expeanding for
years in my experience
