				Hello

I have a Nanchang CJ-6 with a ceconite covered rudder. I would like to remove the material from the lower 3rd of the rudder to install a rudder trim servo and trim tab

Am I better of re covering the entire rudder or is it more cost effective to leave intact as much as I can and just recover the section in question?

I would not be doing the fabric work so I guess I'm trying to get an idea of the cost involved.

Additionally, I'd be adding an access panel (inspection cover) for the servo, a fairing for the actuating rod and of course the trim tab it self.

I'm also concerned about the integrity of a repair vs a complete new fabric job.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
