I think I just detected Old Bob cringe at the thought of adding a couple hundred pounds of weight to an airplane :-) Stainless and carbon steel are both occasionally used, but aluminum is typical for light GA aircraft. Converting a Commander to all stainless lines would add an enormous amount of weight. chris
