 Extending the chat about EGT and fuel consumption this is an 
interesting podcast from one of my heros Klaus Savier.  Klaus achieved 
48 US mpg at 207 mph recently in the Cafe competition. This should be 
achievable with a Europa Motorglider and a Rotax. Except perhaps that 
speed is measured block to block.
Klaus has a Vari Eze with an O-200. I have one of his ignition units on 
my Long EZ. (yet to fly again)
