Huzzah!
With the shop projects winding down, I finally got to work on the plane.
The wing construction table, after two moves, had become pretty
rickety, so I had plans to rebuild the table. I had installed an
electric hoist over the wing to raise and lower the wing panel during
the construction. This time, I used it to raise the entire wing off the
table. The saddles had only been marginally done, were improved. I
painted epoxy in the saddle and trowled in some epoxy with micro. I
then lowered the wing back onto the table. This will make the saddles
to be exactly shaped to the curve of the upper wing surface. Tomorrow,
I plan to rework the center box of the wing table.
More to follow.
