Subject: Squeeze Bulb Safety & Positive Pressure Prime From: Jack B. Hart (jbhart@onlyinternet.net) Date: Tue Mar 16 - 4:43 PM FireFlyer's, #2 Put up a couple of pages that might be of interest. The first shows a method of how to safety a fuel squeeze bulb while saving some weight and at the same time simplifying the fuel system. It can be seen at: http://jackbhart.com/firefly/firefly157.html The second shows a method for getting rid of the squeeze bulb all together providing additional weight savings and system simplification. Herb gave me the idea. It can be seen at: http://jackbhart.com/firefly/firefly157a.html These methods were investigated while trying to figure out how to get fuel to the Tillotson carburetor on the MZ 34. Turns out that neither of them will work, but they will with the Bing. And each will save a little weight. Clouds and rain have moved in. Snow is gone. Wings are back on the FireFly. Jack B.
