Subject: RE: removing contact cement From: Doug Dever (chiefpepperhead@hotmail.com) Date: Sat Nov 21 - 4:02 AM Oscar=2C Depends on the paint. If it's and OEM finnish on a car or truck built w/in the last 20yrs then laquer thinner is fine. For any other paint I wouldn' t go any harsher than a cleaner/degreaser sold at any automotive paint shop =2C but I'm not sure that it will cut contact cement.
