Well, Rob, the antennae are in place!
One is on top centerline just aft of the thick part of the cabin top
for structural reasons per Vans. That means no other antennae up
there. Rats!
One is on the belly just forward of spar.
Two GPS antennae are just aft of firewall and forward of windscreen,
com antennae are on belly aft of door.
Nav antennae ore in wing tips.
Processor is on a spanwise shelf between the longerons immediately
behind the baggage compartment. A dedicated encoder is right beside it
- saves a lot of wiring that way.
Mounted engine today. W00T!
