Not so much hours as it is the IFR rating...that will save you a bunch...he cost
of the rating will repay you in two years.  My premium for 150k 160 hours is
3K a year. 1600 if I was IFR

Does anyone know what the hour threshold is to get a substantial cost  
decrease in their insurance policy?
I would probably have around 130 on renewal in Dec.
