Wow,, thanks guys.. this stuff is way over my little Air Traffic Controller brain,,,
but I have a guy  :)

interesting comment about he brushes though.  I installed a new radio this winter
(microair)... and since then ATC has been sometimes complaining about radio
noise.  Maybe it is the brushes... we'll look at all the possibilities and trouble
shoot.
