Derek,
I've been using Dupli-Color self etching primer. It sticks great to the aluminum.
I first scuff it with a little scotch bright, and wash it well with a solvent
to remove any residue and sharpee marks. I spray it outside with a dust
mask. You can find this stuff almost anywhere that sells spray paint in rattle
cans.

I started using it. But NAPA is 20 min farther than several other hardware stores.
Has anyone used any other rattle can primers? If so, How has it worked?
Also is 6061-t6 considered galvanized?
