Hey Lee, I see that you didn't get a quick response.  I would not mess with the
edge distance on the HT frame as it is a "more" structural part.  Your best bet
is to squeeze those extra mms out of a new piece of standard L.

Having said that I have noticed that in a few places in the Zenith photoguide that
there are compromised edge distances (on the end of a couple of pieces).
