Subject:		BRS Internal Installation in a Mark-3
Description:		Several months ago, the topic of installing a BRS entirely on the inside of a Kolb was discussed on the List. I described how I installed a BRS-1050 Softpak in the cabin of my Mark-3, behind the passenger seat. This picture shows how the BRS pack is suspended from a "bridge" structure I fabricated, attached between the boom tube and the cage side longerons, leaving the bottom of the pack (where the 'chute exits) unobstructed. The rocket fires right through the fabric, to the side and 45 degrees downward. Installing the BRS in the cabin, out of the weather and elements, allows for the maximum permitted time until a repack is required (6 years).
