Subject:		Leveling RV6-A Fuselage
Description:		The photos show the two stands I built for supporting the fuselage when the gear legs are being installed. The top photo shows the front stand which is a very robust saw--horse type, made of two layers of 3/4" plywood glued and screwed together The horizontal member has a cut-out to clear the engine exhaust pipes and spans the whole width of the fuselage below the firewall. Nose gear wheel and fairings installation are complete.
		Fuselage_nose_and_tail_stnds-RV6-A.jpg	The lower photo shows the adjustable stand positioned below the tail of the fuselage. The concrete block prevents nose tip-over at this time during construction due to the weight of the engine ahead of the fulcrum at the front stand. Both stands are high enough to provide clearance for all wheels to clear the floor. No jacks were required.
