Subject: Monument Valley Photos Description: Here are a few more photos from Monument Valley in case anyone forgot how beautiful it is.
129-2932_IMG.jpg Sand dunes and a very lonesome curving ridgeline at the south end of the valley. 129-2935_IMG.jpg Good airspeed, no flashing red light on the EIS, and not a bad view. 129-2937_IMG.jpg The heart of Monument Valley. "The Totem" is visible as a thin toothpick near the center of the photo. 129-2947_IMG.jpg The most dramatic example of folded rock layers I have ever seen. This is from the Mexican Hat area, about 30 miles north of Monument Valley. The air was rough, so I grabbed a few photos and headed right back to MV.
