Subject: RV-6A IFR Inst Panel & Wiring Description: Here's what I'm currently building on the next RV-6A. The Panel was laid out using IntelliCAD, and, when plotted full size (at work), results in a very accurate overlay that was glued to the panel, then used as a drill template for all panel holes. Note the use of Auto Fuse blocks in the forward area, and the additional access panels installed in the front skin. This saves a lot of valuable panel space (but there's still room for breakers...). Also not how the F-668 Sub panel has been cut out (and re-enforced). The bar across the bottom of this panel is also used as the common ground for all instruments. he switch sub-panel (.040 T3) was formed on 3/4" plywood forms, with the curve hammered out with a wood block. results were no cracks and a strong area to mount the switches and throttle/mixture push-pull controls. If anyone wants more details, email me at wstucklen1@cox.net -Fred Stucklen
