Seth Hancock's RV-6 Project
Georgetown, TX
Seth is a machinist by trade and is considered among the top airplane
builders in the Austin area. When he isn't making parts for F16's
in his machine shop, he can usually be found in his deluxe workshop
finishing his RV-6.
The fuselage is being built on a wooden jig. It is actually constructed
upside down on the jig and then removed and turned right side
up for final assembly. Note the RV-6 drawing hanging on the wall
in the background.
Below is a picture of the second homebuilt Seth has constructed
and the first homebuilt that I ever flew in. It is an extremely
well handling plane. If you fly in one, you will see why so many
have been built. The craftsmanship on this airplane is outstanding!
