I used the DeWalt 12V cordless drill motor with two batteries to build my RocketII. It was more than adequate but also more than heavy, which is along with size the major drawback. I also used the Ryobi right angle motor in the 9 + V size, and other than the real tight areas I would recommend it also. jim HR II N144HR
